ABOUT
A BLACKSMITH:
It is impossible to escape a story, and every one of us lives our own.
And we all love a good story, and every good story has a well-defined and constructed shape: a beginning, a middle, and an end. And every one of us wants to be the hero of our own story. And a hero in the lives of those closest to us. But above everything else, we seek to leave our mark through eternity.
We all create, have ideas, and seek to meet our end with grace and elegance, knowing we didn't leave anything to chance. But we often lack the skills or tools to finish it, so we feel powerless and absurd. And at this point in every epic story, every hero hears from a mystic sword, ax or a capable blacksmith that creates such a needed tool for the job, task, or quest.
And when he finds it, he feels that fate brought the Blacksmith and the hero together. And then, he/she feels capable of taking over the world and overcoming even the biggest obstacles in life.

And this is why this little project is named Blacksmith. This is my purpose in your life's story: as a designer, I live to create every sort of artifact, all magical tools and elements to be able to create your perfect ending, for your own perfect story. I am here to help you.

In short, my name is Daniel Puentes. I am a graphic designer, illustrator, animator, advertiser, creative, friend, a person. And like everyone else, I am filled with paradoxes and opinions, especially a different perspective on how I see my career, life, and work.
